Overview
Consultech is a business intelligence platform that uses artificial intelligence to analyze company financial health, initiated in partnership with Ezmid s.r.o. It provides online diagnostic tools for evaluating business performance, determining company valuations, and identifying growth opportunities — all powered by a continuously learning econometric model.
The Challenge
Business owners and decision-makers often lack quick, reliable tools for understanding their company's financial position. Traditional consulting is slow and expensive. They needed a way to run diagnostics on financial data, benchmark against competitors, and prepare for investment rounds or acquisitions without lengthy engagement cycles.
What We Built
We built the entire frontend of the company comparison and diagnostics web application, while the backend and econometric model were developed by the client's own team. We strongly cooperated on data structures to ensure accurate data flow between the backend analytics engine and the frontend. The platform delivers real-time performance metrics, KPI evaluation, company diagnostics, and competitive analysis through rich interactive visualizations. We extended charting libraries with custom algorithms and components on the frontend to transform complex financial data into clear, actionable insights tailored to specific client requirements.
Technical Approach
At the core of the platform is a machine learning model maintained by the client's team, trained on economic and financial indicators that continuously learns from new data. Our focus was on making this complex analytics accessible — we built custom extensions on top of existing charting libraries, along with comparison algorithms and visualization tools that present actionable insights through clear, interactive reports. We closely collaborated on the data structures connecting the AI-driven backend with our frontend to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
Results
Consultech launched as a fully operational BI platform serving Slovak businesses. It enables data-driven decision-making for company valuations, competitive positioning, and strategic planning — at a fraction of the time and cost of traditional consulting.
